How Silent Disco Works
Instead of speakers filling the room, the music is sent wirelessly to everyone's headphones. You get a small transmitter and a box of 25 wireless headsets: connect your phone, laptop or music device to the transmitter by Bluetooth or audio cable, and it broadcasts that music channel to the headsets by RF. Everyone hears the music clearly, and anyone who takes their headset off can still hold a normal conversation — so the party can run late without upsetting the neighbours.
Each transmitter carries one music channel — guests select the matching channel on the side of their headset.
- 25 headsets per box — most parties take 1 or 2 boxes
- 1 transmitter = 1 music channel; hire up to 3 to switch playlists
- Takes about 5 minutes to set up — plug in, power on, press play
- Everything is charged and ready when you collect it
Important At least one transmitter is required with any headset hire — it is what sends the music. One transmitter covers your whole hire, however many boxes you take.
